Here’s the story of HOW WE BEGAN.

Our story began in the Song Dynasty. Over a thousand years ago, monks practiced Dian Cha (the art of tea-whisking) as a form of meditation. Slow and deliberate, this ritual fosters focus and inner peace. Jian ware was crafted exclusively for this practice. The wares were made using 27°N iron-rich clays, it features a thick body for heat preservation, a glaze fired at 1,300°C to preserve tea aroma, and a shape-fitting designed to create a smooth whisking foam—making it the ideal vessel for Dian Cha.
